“Our heart is our lifeline. We Express ourselves, remain Active with Cooking and physical activities, to become Autonomous with the support of our FAMily.” (Jason, Lili, Mathieu)

Jason, Lilli, Mathieu, R. Yosef, and Photoshooter 2000, 5 youths living with disabilities, invite you into their live through 22 photographs of their hopes and dreams. Through these photographs, they share their personal vision of moments, places, people, and objects that hold special meaning for them in their transition towards independent living.

Developed by and for youths living with disabilities, in collaboration with the TranXition clinical program at the CIUSSS West-Central Montreal, this exhibit aims to give a voice to the young participants, whose experiences and perspectives are too often overlooked. Through their images, they claim their space and assert their identity with authenticity and sensitivity.
