Bio
Mickael holds a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and Global Health from the University of Montreal. He is interested in health promotion, social marketing, innovation and knowledge translation among rehabilitation professionals. His master’s project focuses on the integration of evidence-based data through scholarly practice using the Diamant Tools developed at the CIUSSS West-Central of Montreal.
Summary
The integration of best clinical practices is a commitment supported by several provincial and federal bodies to improve the quality of rehabilitation care. However, in the context of budgetary constraints, the gap between scientific knowledge and its application in the field remains a major challenge. This presentation invites reflection on strategies for promoting scholarly practice currently being developed at the Lethbridge-Layton-Mackay Rehabilitation Centre. Discover and contribute to defining profiles of various actors in scholarly practice through personas—fictional characters representing target audiences for practice change.
