RESEARCH INTERNSHIP FOR YOUNG ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES

For young adults living with disabilities, entering the professional working world can present specific challenges. Access to opportunity is an on-going concern and currently only a limited number of openings are available, limiting this population’s ability to fully engage and participate.   

With this in mind, the Directorate of Academic Affairs & Research Ethics (DAARE) of the CIUSSS Centre-Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal and the Habilitas Foundation are proud to offer funding to Lethbridge-Layton-Mackay Rehabilitation Center (LLMRC) associated researchers so that they might provide research internships to young adults living with a disability. Through this funding, we hope to support young adults interested in working in research acquire meaningful and scalable work experience in the field.
