
Dr. Frédérique Poncet, a physical rehabilitation researcher at the CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest, received the Eva Kehayia 2025 Recognition Award – Promising Start to a Research Career, awarded by the CRIR. This award recognizes her exceptional contribution to rehabilitation research. A professor at McGill University and associated with the Université de Montréal, she conducts innovative work at the intersection of clinical research, social innovation, and implementation science, with a particular interest in learning health systems.
Her flagship project, GUSTO, is a group culinary intervention designed to improve the functional and cognitive abilities of people living with neurological disorders. The CRIR recognized her leadership, scientific commitment, and mobilizing role among the next generation.
